เป็นที่ราบทางภาคใต้ของจีน แต่อยู่แถบเหนือของมณฑลฝูเจี้ยน ธรรมชาติของภูเขา ป่าไม้ และลำธารของ WuyiShan มีความงามไม่แพ้ Guilin นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถล่องแพในแม่น้ำจิ่วซวีเหอ ซึ่งเป็นแม่น้ำ 9 เลี้ยว ไหลคดเคี้ยวงดงาม นอกจากนี้ทางโบราณคดี ยังพบว่า เป็นแหล่งที่ซ่อนโลงศพรูปเรือโบราณอายุเกือบ 4000 ปี จำนวนมาก แม้ว่าจะศูนย์หายไปมากแล้ว แต่ก็ยังมีโลงศพเรือที่สมบูรณ์เก็บรักษา ไว้ให้คนรุ่นปัจจุบันได้ดูกัน โลงศพเรือนี้มีความยาว 346 ซม. กว้าง 56 ซม. และสูง 12 ซม.
การท่องเที่ยวถ้าติดขัดเรื่องภาษา อาจซื้อทัวร์ท้องถิ่นจะสะดวกกว่า เพียงแต่ซื้อกับบริษัทที่ทางการรับรอง และตกลงกันให้ดีก่อนว่า ราคาที่จะต้องจ่ายเหมารวมอะไรบ้าง ราคาของบริษัทที่เสนอถูกกว่า อาจจะกลายเป็นแพงกว่าได้ ถ้าไม่ใช้ความระมัดระวัง และขอย้ำว่า ราคาเกือบทุกอย่างต่อรองได้ ขึ้นอยู่กับจำนวนและวาจาท่าทาง(เพราะอาจใช้ภาษากาย) บางครั้งเขาอาจรับรองว่าเป็นราคาของทางการ ก็ยังต่อรองราคาได้ ยกเว้นแต่คุณอยากอวดใครก็แล้วแต่ ก็เป็นอีกเรื่องหนึ่ง

Destination Guide	Jiuqu River The rafts leave daily between 7.30am and 2pm all year round and can be picked up from most spots along the riverside. A two hour trip should cost about RMB50 per person. The views are fantastic, and this is also the best way to appreciate the boat shaped coffins along the way.
	Heavenly Tour Peak (Tianyou Feng) is one of the most popular sights on the Wuyi Mountain. If you are an early bird, you can catch the most spectacular worm: Have the hotel receptionist wake you up early in the morning and you stand a fair chance of catching the sunrise amidst misty clouds (weather permitting). From here, there are also clear views of the Jiuqu River meandering at the foot of the mountain.
	Eagle Beak Hill (Yingzui Yan) Apart from its unusual shape, there are few things of interest about this spot except some caves, which, according to local people, provided shelter for squires during the Taiping Uprising some 150 years ago.
	King of Peaks Located at the easternmost end of the Jiuqu River, Dawang Feng, translated word for word, means King of Peaks. This peak is worth the climb, and it is a relatively gentle trek that should take less than two hours.

Shopping Overview

The basic specialty of Wuyi Mountain, beyond some of its impressive food varieties, is in its production of tea. The Wuyi Yan Tea produced here is basically a mix of green and red teas, which is easy to find. You will come upon many peddlers claiming to sell authentic Wuyi Yan Tea, or even Dahongpao, its best known subtype, however, it is strongly advised (possibly by the local government) that you come to the government-owned tea plantation farm to avoid being ripped off.

The mountain also specializes in the harvesting of fragrant mushrooms which recent evidence is claiming may have curative efficacy in the healing of cancer.

Wuyi Mountain seems to be the hotspot for miracle cures: the famous snake wine produced here is apparently an instant relief for chronic arthritis, many a patient claiming benefit from this appalling looking wine. Whether this is due to its medical effectiveness or its alcoholic potency is in doubt, although there is little question that getting this stuff through customs would be troublesome.
